Right! I got my A level results 3 days ago! W00t! Should i announce it over the blog? LoL!!! Yes? No? No fun if i don't eh?

Mathematics - A

H1 Subjects:
Chinese - C
Chinese Oral - Merit
Project Work - B

That's basically what i got for my Advance Level Examination! This results of mine is totally unreal. And i tell you, my result is God's blessing in my life!

My prelim results were horrible. I got Ds and a U (ungraded). I was really really disappointed and i told myself that if i am eligible to enroll into a university, it means that God is working.

It was my JC dream to shake my principal's hand during the release of the results as this would mean that i did very well. Occasionally i would pray that i could shake my principal's hand, but i always thought that this prayer will never be answered. Most of the time i would pray that i would get into a university or have decent "A" level grades.

When my principal called my name on Friday, I daresay that i was the happiest man alive! I was shaking with joy and i could barely contain it. 3As and 1B!!! How could i ever score A for mathematics? I know i put in effort to study mathematics, but i never thought i had it in me to score an A. Mathematics has always been my weakest link. God definitely helped me through the examination. Glory to God!!! This is the classic example of how God gives you more than what you ask for. I prayed that God would guide me through the examination and that i would be able to pass. I never dreamt of getting an A. But God blessed me with a big, wonderful A! Wow!

Now I'll have to decide on what course I should take in 2 years time...

Right. Since i have nothing better to do, i might as well blog here. Again. It has been a while since i last blogged here.

Anyways, I've been doing fine. Chinese New Year was a blast! My cousin from China came over for 10 days and we had a blasting good time together. She took quite a few photos... Who am i kidding? She took so many photos that we had to burn them into a few discs for her!

The picture below was taken just before we got to ride on the cable car from Mount Faber to Sentosa. The one on the right is my cousin of course.

I'm getting my A level results tomorrow! Feeling really excited!

Well... Its been a day since the farewell assembly. As tingyan puts it, "4 periods of saying goodbye". It is kinda sad that our time in JC has come to an end! But hey, with the close of every chapter, a new chapter is open till we close the book of life. Haha!

I didn't take much pictures. Didn't jump in front of many cameras today. Must be shy-er when teacher is around. Hahaha! But i'm gonna miss my JC classmates!!! If any of my classmates is reading this. I will remember you for life and evermore! But i think i'm gonna see Nicky Chew for a while longer... We got posted to BMTC School 1. On the same day too!

Hey guys! Let's study hard these few days and do ultra well for the 'A's. Ace it like the 'O's and get into the uni course that we want. For those of you who have not decided which course to take, get scores that allows you to choose without restrictions! Maythose who are weak in their studies seek help and those who asre strong help the weak!

We will pass this stage no matter what. Though there maybe causalties in this war, we shall not mock them but help them through the end!!!

Well, i just got home from 3 days of not being at home. Technically i came back home but only to change clothes, take a short short nap and grab some stuff.

See ar, on thursday, after KI (our very very last prelim paper), i chiong home to change den chiong to orchard to celebrate lijing's b'day. (i even got her a present wor!) Den after dinner, we went to take neoprint. After that lj invited us to go to her chalet. Us = Cass, siokgism, sar, tsz shan, jason tay, yq, jeremy and me!

Well, that was the abridged version of what happened on thursday. LoL!

At the chalet, i borrowed yq's (aka God-light) tee-shirt to wear, coz i didn't like hanging around in a chalet with a nice buttoned-down shirt. It was blue and big! Haha! It was big because i'm relatively small size. We watched "Hairspray"! (i feel asleep after 40-50mins into the show) Also played "Truth or Dare", but somehow ar, it felt like it was playing "Truth". Lj was out like a light lah. Sleeping at a chalet!

On friday hor, i had to chiong home because tay suggest we go sports club and be there by 12pm. I made quite an accurate prediction about the time yq and I would reach home and leave punggol. But i miscalculated how "on time" the rest were... Played a bit of badminton (3 hours) and swam about 30mins nia coz someone couldn't take it anymore. Let's not mention who, hor tay? After sporting, i HAD to go home for dinner and net. After net i chiong back to chalet again. Hahaha! We played DDR all day! (from night till morning) At least sar and i did lah. My legs were aching after jumping on the dance pad. xD

Saturday morning ar? Good Morning Baltimore! The song was stuck in my head!!! The gang went down to the arcade. We topped up 16bucks lah. I got till the 2nd stage of House of the Dead 4 without dying, but because ty's gun got problem, he couldn't throw guns at the spiders and i died... LJ and i got to the Star, but as everyone knows, it is nigh impossible to defeat Star without losing a life. Unfortunately, a life was all i had... Bargh, didn't get to World (the final boss) on 2 credits.

I also found House of the Dead 3. Shotguns are pretty darn cool and the zombies from 3 are better looking as compared to 4. Let's not forget that 3 is cheaper to play than 4. But the zombies in 3 must be completely disintegrated before its safe to stop shooting. In 4, as long as the monster falls, he is dead.

No more interesting things le. TTFN!

Oh man... This is so stressful! My IS is due in 3 days! 40% of my KI result hangs in the balance with this study. For those who don't know, IS stands for Independent Study. The topic i chose is "Why the Theory of Evolution favoured over other theories?"

Hopefully my IS will allow me to score that A for KI for my A levels. My goal is to get 4 As for my A levels and shake my principal's hand! That goal will be realised as soon as i decide to go do some serious revision...

I totally wasted today on my IS and taking long naps... I think i'm suffering from some kind of sleep disorder. Seriously! I mean i slept for 11hours, from 11pm last night till 10am! I took a nap at 2.45 till 4.30 in the afternoon... Now, as i'm typing this post, i think i can sleep for another few more hours!

*sigh* I think i shall go improve my IS now...

Weee! I realise that i got time to blog this few days. LoL! Math is a killer... But there are a few talented ones other there that owned the paper. No idea whether it's true or not but i'm sure there are some math freaks that live, breath and eat mathematics...

Well. Bio paper tomorrow. Applications of molecular biology. Cool eh? Makes me wonder if it would be a waste of 2 years if i don't take biology in the university. Hmmm... I wanna do marine biology. Seems fun! Or game designing seems fun. Haha... 7 more papers to go! JIA YOU!!!

ARGH!!! Today marks the start of my preliminary examination. Darn it... I couldn't get an ounce of sleep last night and my head is aching...

Bio paper wasn't hard at all, i just hope i got all the keywords down. And only if i wrote a bit faster, i could complete my essays... Oh man... The essay was horrendous... All i could remember from that paper is how ridiculous my essay was and how pain my fingers were after the paper!

Now that bio paper 2 is out of the way, 9 more papers to go! Go me!!! Tomorrow's chem paper 3... Hopefully i'll get enough sleep for tomorrow as well as enough knowledge to get me that A in chemistry that i wan SO MUCH!

Let's not forget my Independent Study is due next monday. Hopefully that IS of mine well get me a decent grade in KI.

Blargh... Off to study chem now...

Today. Dragonboating. Back ache. Enough said.

LoL! Joking.

The day after my birthday gotta go dragonboating. I'm still feeling warm and fuzzy from yestersday's celebration. I tell you ar, the authentic dragonboaters at kallang river there are so muscular that it's actually kinda scary... Maybe not all of them, but you get the idea, no? Anyway, so glad that i didn't get burned today. Thank you lavi for letting me use some of your sunblock. =] Jason got burnt though, he looked like a lobster. Bwahahaha.

Dragonboating was fun, but i went there on an empty stomach and without a water bottle. Thank the Lord i managed to survive through the few hours.

After dragonboating we had KFC for dinner. The funny part was, the Alhena OGL tee-shirt that i was wearing had "KFC" on it.

*Flashback* KFC was because during 1st 3months in MJ, they called me Chicken Little cause i look like him... Then at that time we formed a Kantang Fan Club in honour of Sean, the Kantang. Somehow it became the KFC, the one where they sell fried chicken, when we ate at KFC . So i decided to use KFC since when u fry chicken with multiple herbs and spices you get KFC chicken.

Had such great fun with my classmates. But enough of fun and STUDY!!! Prelims are coming!

Weee~ Happy birthday to me!!! Oops...
Anyway, had such a great day today. Got some really great gifts from my friends! Made me feel so loved today. Thank you guys!
I couldn't believe that i was actually up doing maths specimen paper at 12am, on my birthday! Donglin told me to go to take a break on my b'day but hey, studies before whatnots eh?
My 1st 3mnths classmates got me a cute little cow plushy, cool b'day card and some Ferrero Rocher! Lavina gave me a really cool notebook andPhira gave me a few booster packs.
*Some of the best cards i got from the boosters are "Glorious Anthem" and "Chimeric Staff". The "Glorious Anthem" is foiled too! I bought myself a booster pack too, and i got the "Epochrasite" that i wanted.*
After school, i hanged out at Jeremy's place till evening then we went to Fish and Co. for dinner! I had a "Swordfish Collar" and it was massive! My classmates gave me a Slyvester bolster and treated me to the Fish and Co. dinner. So cool lah.
After dinner, we hung around Tampines, then my loving PW group and Poon and gang bought me a book entitled "Traveling Light" and an album by Hillsongs. *If you're wonder who is Poon and gang, then must ask da ge for details. xD*
I feel so blessed today sia... Siok huey told me that the turnout rate for today's celebration is the highest for any b'day celebration. Thank you guys! Love you all!

Hello! Bet you all missed the little blogger! xD
Yup, it has been such a long time since i last updated, but hey, whose taking note of the small details? I know i'm not~

This week is wacked! Wanna know how i spend the week? I'm gonna tell anyway!

On monday, i took the liberty of studying. Mug and mug none stop for my KI exam! Not bad right? Went through some of the fallacies, read up a bit of David Hume... Actually i did very little... Played a bit that day. I slepted quite early on monday. It was the prelude of something evil to come.

On tuesday, the day of my KI exam, i fell ill. Yup, i fell ill on my exam day. Slight fever and a bit delirious to boot. After i got home, my condition became worse and i spent the rest of my day trying to keep cool and sleep.

Went for training on wednesday... The more accurate term is stoned for training... I couldn't swim 'cause of the darn sickness... Figured that i actually liked swimming coz i wanted to get into the water and swim badly.

Thursday was wasted on gaming and gaming and sleeping... Wondered what happened to studying... Haven't recovered on Thursday.

Friday disappeared likewise, but hey, at least i went for net~ Still recovering on Friday.

Saturday... Hmmm... I worked for money~ This time i wasn't working for my mum. It was for a company. Funny thing is i don't remember which...

Today. I played basketball~ Not fully recovered yet but hey hey hey, I survived~

Wow... Looks like i haven't updated ino a very very long time... So many things happened! And i didn't blog about it! How could i? Let's see... I got back my blog test results... Its nothing fantastic though... And its kinda disappointing too! But let's not throw a pity party. It was a good wake up call!

For starters, i have the following results:

B for Chemistry
E for Biology
S for Mathematics
U for Knowledge and Inquiry

Well... I guess i need to work harder for bio, math and KI! Memorise more bio facts, practise more maths questions and practise writing more essays... Its kinda easy for me to say all this but if i try to put it into action, its a different ball game altogether! Ah well...

Wahahaha... Today i actually went to school to mug! Nothing went into my head though... Sad lah... Felt like i wasted time! Right... In any case, today was rather eventful.

I had to travel all the way down to Boon Lay! That's from one end of Singapore to the other end! 55mins worth of travel time! Wow... Imagine if i study at NTU, about 2hr of travel time per day, through and fro... Go school on the average of 300days per year... 600hrs worth of travel time! Say i take 50hours to fully complete 1 game... I can complete up to 12 games per year! Haha... If i really study at NTU, i'll definately get a PSP or a Nitendo DS.

I talked a lot today, nothing unusual about that. Had to go to NTU to swim for this charity event... The swimming distance was... 3km... Thats 60 laps. Took me about an hour to finish it... But i got a medal and a t-shirt! Nothing to boast about but... Its kinda like my 1st medal... Never got one before. Hopefully its not my last. xD

And i got a goodie bag from the swim! There was a bottle of Skippy Peanut Butter in it. Cool eh? Imagine this, "Skippy Peanut Butter, may contain peanut." It wasn't on the label, i made that one up. The name of the food thingy already says peanut butter so i guess its kinda duh right? Thought it was funny...

After the swim, the team went down to Jurong Point for dinner. I bought this really cool Hotpan Beef for 5 bucks and guess what. There were cockroaches! I think the roaches didn't crawl into my food, coz i'm still here typing this blog after all... Haha... Nothing more to type though. I shall sign off here then. xD

During the encounter, whenever it was prayer time, i'd concentrate on what the sessions were about and think about which area of my life it refers to. Then it struck me that i already know what was being taught in the sessions but i have failed to applied it. But i felt the arms of God wrap around me, comforting me. He forgave me and told me that i should start applying it. His grace is so rea,l and it gave me a feeling that is so overwhelming that i started to tear in my eye.

Near the end of the encounter when we burnt that sheet of paper with our strongholds listed in it, i could feel a sense of released! And i tell you, that feeling is just so special! It makes me wanna share with others how they can feel released from their past wrongdoings instead of living in a life full of sorrow and regret.

During the session when pastor Jeremy talked about multiplying, i thought about the salvation of my school. And suddenly an image of the school parade square come to mind. There were many students there, and i think their hands were lifted up. And when i was thinking about the hall, i saw many students and teachers there! The long dormant feeling that to reach out to my schoolmates was stirred up again! I can't wait to get the others together and talk about this!

I also felt an urging to play a more active part in reaching out to people other then my schoolmates. People being those around me, in my neighbourhood and my famiy members. I had that feeling a long time ago but the feeling did not last. But some how i'm kind of convinced that this time this feeling is here to stay until i accomplished something. I think that's all i have... Till next time!

Wasn't able to blog on sunday... I missed my computer. =X

I went for morning service on sunday morning as usual, and it was great as usual. The shorter kids called me short again... Kids being those under 12. xD Fancy getting bullied by them huh? Straight after service i went for the encounter retreat. I was suppose to be Gabriel's companion. Companion being the guy that accompanies another guy that has never been to an encounter before. The teaching there was great! Even though i went to an encounter 2 years go, i'm glad i accompanied Gabriel.

During this encounter retreat i felt something that i never felt after a very long period of time... I can't seem to find the right words to describe the feeling. Its this nice overwhelming sense that you get... Like when you do something bad and someone gives you a hug and comforts you.

And guess what. I totally forgot i had a Knowledge and Inquiry test TODAY! I was prepared to stay overnight in church on sunday when i suddenly realised that i had a test today. I had to rush home late in the night! Costed me 12 bucks on taxi fare! In any case, i think the KI test was okay, but if i had a little more time, i would have done better. After the test i rushed back to the youth center. I met pastor Jeremy on the way in and he asked me, "How did you forget that you have a test?" And i replied, "I just did..."

I felt like a sotong! How can i forget my own test dates? After the whole encounter, i went back with the region 3/4 people and had dinner with them. After dinner, i tried to get some shoes for myself. What happened after that? I got back home and started typing.

Ars Arcanum... In latin, ars means skill or technique. So ars arcanum could mean arcane skill or arcane technique. I got the name Ars Arcanum from the game Kingdom Hearts. I love the that game very much and those of you who've seen my previous blog skin will notice that the blog skin used to have KH in it.

In the world of Kingdom Hearts, the hero, Sora, has a few techniques up his sleeves. This techniques range from flinging the keyblade at his enemies to rapidly bashing his enemies with his keyblade. Ars Arcanum is the technique that Sora uses to bash his enemies into oblivion. Personally it is my favourite technique and its really flashy! I really have no idea why i chose Ars Arcanum though... But what the heck. I like the name! So there you have it.

Phew! Just come back from a jog with Gabriel Ho! Talk about a night jog!

It was last Sunday when Annabella, Gabriel and I decided to jog every friday after net. For those who don't know, net is something like a cell group, i think. We had a slow jog for about 20mins then Annabella got tired because she hasn't jogged for a very long time. So we kinda walked a while. I also got to see the newer blocks in the neighbourhood! In those new blocks i saw tables and benches. There is NO tables before those blocks came around. But the bad thing is, there is no shelter over the tables. Bummer... Can't study there when its raining...

After we walked Annabella home, Gabriel and I took another jog. This time it was at a faster pace. Its really cool to run in a neighbourhood then those boring red tracks! After the jog we went to explore the newest blocks in punggol. Those blocks are so COOL!!!And we got to see lotsa froggies on the way there. Wonder where those frogs stay...

I'll do the explanation of my blog name in the next post~ See? I didn't forget!

I can't believe today passed so quickly! i mean... After all today is an off day for MJC. Who wants their off days to be short and boring? Haha... I did nothing but sleep and play today... Woke up at 9 then watch tv with my baby sister... Started playing with my PS2 when i got bored of the tv. Ooops

In case you are wonder what game i was playing, i was playing Ar Tonelico; Melodies of Elemia. Its a really cool game where you play a knight on a quest! Ah... Doesn't say much about the game coz lotsa RPGs are like that anyway... In any case, Ar Tonelico has cool graphics! Though its set in 2D, the art work is very good! But the 3D graphics could have been better. I think i gotta stop here or i'll be late for my meeting!

I'll blog about how i got my blog name the next time! That is provided i remember. xD

Right! I wonder how long has it been since i last blogged. Haha! Nothing much to blog about currently... But there is this one thing... Can i brag a bit here? xD

Those taking H2 Chemistry in MJ will remember that darn 2 parts common test we had a few days ago. And guess what? Dr Rahman returned the paper 2 days after the test! Is he efficient or is he efficient? He's a really great chemistry teacher. But that's not the point. The point is i kinda scored an A for that test. How often do i get A for chemistry?

In my secondary school days, i always get A for chemistry... But now, i get Ds and Es! Talk about a plunge in results! I guess i need to study more instead of play RPGs huh? =x

My darn back is aching... Wonder if it's because of yesterday's training... Oh well... I'm suppose to go swim tomorrow with Candice... But i feel kinda lazy... Haha! Come to think of it, i'm suppose to confirm what to meet for the swim! Kinda late... Oh well... More time for my PS2 then~
